Serving The Community
Since moving to Parker in 1990, Vivian Hartless has dedicated herself to serving the La Paz County community:
- She was one of the original founding members that created the Colorado River Regional Crisis Shelter
- She worked for 10 years as a caseworker for Adult Protective Services, investigating exploitation of vulnerable adults in La Paz County
- She recently retired from 15 years as the La Paz County Public Fiduciary, where she continued to support vulnerable adults in the La Paz County community. In 2019, she was selected as the Arizona Fiduciary of the Year.
- She was elected to the Parker Town Council from 2012-2018
- She currently serves on the Friends of the Parker Public Library Board, the WACOG Board, the FEMA Board, and the Parker Senior Committee.
- She earned an AA degree from Arizona Western College and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Northern Arizona University in 2007.
United By A Common Goal
Vivian wants to create an efficient Assessor's Office that works cooperatively with the community as well as the other state, county and local offices. Mutual respect and common goals are vital to a successful and high-functioning organization. Vivian is a long-time Independent, refusing to switch political parties in an effort to get elected. She firmly believes that partisan politics has no place in the business of property assessing.

General Election
As an Independent, Vivian Hartless will not appear in the Primary Election on July 30, 2024. She will go straight to the general election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Vote Vivian Hartless for La Paz County Assessor!
